Nilima Bhat is a distinguished leadership expert, author, and advocate for gender equity and well-being. She is the founder and director of Shakti Leadership, a global initiative that integrates ancient Indian wisdom with contemporary leadership practices. Nilima is a key voice in the Conscious Capitalism movement, bringing a powerful lens of feminine leadership and Eastern wisdom to the conversation.

As a champion of purpose-driven business, she advocates for a more balanced, inclusive, and conscious approach to leadership that aligns profit with purpose and personal growth with societal impact.Her work emphasizes the balance of feminine and masculine energies in leadership, aiming to create more inclusive and conscious organizations. Bhat co-authored the book Shakti Leadership: Embracing Feminine and Masculine Power in Business, along with Conscious Capitalism Co-Founder Raj Sisodia, which presents a leadership paradigm rooted in cooperation, creativity, and inclusivity. She also authored My Cancer Is Me: The Journey from Illness to Wholeness, highlighting a holistic approach to health and resilience. With over two decades of experience, Bhat has worked with prominent organizations such as Microsoft, Whole Foods Market, Tata, and Societe Generale Bank. She has also served as a guest faculty member at institutions like Babson College, Bentley University, and Esalen Institute. Her initiatives include the Shakti Fellowship, aiming to empower 100,000 women changemakers by 2030, and the Truth & Reconciliation movement, which seeks to heal collective trauma and promote global peace.
